Are you ready to immerse yourself in a hands-on and heartwarming experience that brings positive change to both horses and humans? Queens Lane Sanctuary invites you to join our team of volunteers for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of fulfilling responsibilities that directly contribute to the well-being of our horses and the connections between these magnificent animals and our human community. It's important to note that each of these responsibilities requires proper training, and we are committed to providing you with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Horse Care: Assist with the daily care of our horses, including feeding, grooming, and maintaining their living spaces for their health and comfort. We will to ensure you are well-prepared and confident in handling and caring for the horses safely and effectively.

Equine Education: Participate in educational programs designed to help you understand horse behavior and our training approach. We are dedicated to your growth and will equip you with the knowledge required for meaningful interactions with our equine residents.
Human Interaction: Facilitate and participate in interactions between visitors and our horses to create positive and therapeutic experiences. Training will be tailored to teach you how to ensure the well-being and safety of all participants, and you will have guidance and support throughout.
Community Engagement: Contribute to our outreach efforts by participating in events, workshops, and educational programs aimed at raising awareness about the profound connection between horses and humans. You will receive training to help you effectively engage with the community and convey the importance of our mission.

No previous experience with horses is necessary. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels who are passionate about our mission.

We ask that our volunteers:​

Be physically able to stand, walk, and lift feed/hay, in varying weather conditions.
